The B53 - Not an AFV but interesting anyway!
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

While, unlike fission weapons, there is no theoretical limit to the size of thermonuclears, there is a practical limit. As one approaches the 100mT capacity, it merely evacuates the atmosphere above the event at a greater rate, rather than expanding the zone of destruction. Bragging rights don't count for much in weapons design.

Weapons designers discovered that patterns of small nukes from MIRV's are more destructive than one big blast.
