I have XP Pro
It's the best version of Windows I've used and the most stable.
But I over-estimated it, and underestimated Home.
I shoulda just got Home myself as well.

Post subject: Re: My New Gaming Rig

Reason for XP Home is thats what I am used to and its cheaper than pro. I have my HD's in RAID 0 and 4 partitions so I have the ability to install another OS on the system if I want to and is something I may do.

As my first build I learned several things. I had no major difficulites or issues but if you thinking about building here are some pointers

1) Read the manual with the MOBO. Its your bible
2) OEM parts dont come with anything, manual, screws, cables anything
3) Shop for deals, lots of different prices online for parts
4) READ READ READ everthing you can online or any place before you start.
5) Heed the static discharge warnings and buy a cheap wrist strap
6) Dont make partitions to small (DOH)
