The news hit me much harder than I expected. I knew he had been ill just by how he looked in pictures I had seen in the last couple of years but I never once considered the thought of his passing.

The video is about an hour long and imo is a must see for any Eddie Van Halen fan. He talks about how he came up with his sound and what drove him to his success. Also I only found out watching the interview that he NEVER learned to read sheet music and they had to create a new way of writing sheet music to describe his form of play. Which he can neither confirm or deny is correct because he is unable to read sheet music!
