that requirerment for demil is not just in the US

In the Netherlands it is the same
This weekend I have been talking to some guys from ArmyCars Holland and they scrapped all weapons they had on stock

Including British 105mm light howitzers, Bren guns, M2 HMG, Kalashnikov, old, modern, just everything.
Total, without the howitzers, enough to fill a 20ft container.

There are to much problems with such equipment, concerning regulations, paperwork, etc.
They even stopped trading vehicles that have fixed weapons, because of these regulations.

- bsmart The De-Mil requirements are pretty stiff (Do they actually think someone would actually try to use one? Bob, You never know when some sneaky furrin' bastid might lay down the keel for an 800'; 50,000 ton gunboat just because he got some tubes on the cheap.

The NPS got one of the tubes for display at Fort Cronkhite, next project is moving it from Hawthorne, NV to Battery Townsley at Fort Cronkhite.
