Honeoye, NY - M29 Weasel
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Honeoye, NY - M29 Weasel

I stopped by the AL/VFW Post in Honeoye and found an empty concrete slab and no M-29. There was a lot of construction going on at the post and I asked about the Weasel, and ended up speaking with the Post commander, Frank.
I was told that the former post commander, Bill Frost owned the M-29 along with a substantial collection of artifacts and had taken it back to his home. The post is working to get another monument vehicle to replace it. Another gent kindly gave me directions to Bill Frost’s house and auto repair shop and I headed over. The shop was closed but I marked the location and have posted a few images of the location from Google - which actually have the M-29 in them!!!
