Post subject: Online Flying - FSXHostClient for FSX & FS2004/2002!

Alternative to MS' GameSpy Multiplayer functionality....FSHOST lives on!

The 1.0 BETA client is ready to download and allows FSX multiplayer to join FS2004/2002 servers....youse guys what are lucky enough to have FSX installed already could conceivably use it in this coming weekend's Sunday flight alongside the FS2004 fliers!

Additional info, FSHost Client works a treat! can connect to the Com-Central Server without a glitch, I even show up on the RADAR !! only thing that doesn't work at this moment is the send weather option Make shure to READ THE README file that comes with the proggy ! fled

Good to hear!!! From what I gleaned of reading, this is a rough first stab at the basics, so he's off and running good for a 1.0 BETA!

I'm interested in the capabilities of what the new SimConnect interface will do and it sounds positive. With the ability for more data points it sounds like passing effects back and forth so they're visible between all players (that have the effect) sounds REAL good...not only for seeing each other's smoke, but for other effects....can you say "bombing raid"? Like in the Skyraiders at say, A Shau Valley???
