The Magazine of Rhodes College, Memphis, TN arrived yesterday. In it was an article on The Royal Navy Black Cats and how they adopted the logo from Rhodes College. They are the British equivalent of the US Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, The Blue Angels. Makes a good looking helicopter. The Lynx logo was designed in 2002 for football helmets and team uniforms. The Black Cats found it on the internet and changed their color from gray to black and placed the logo on their uniforms, helicopters and team badges. They hope to have a demonstration performance over the Memphis campus the next time they are in the US.
