Post subject: Throttle problems in the Turbo Commander

Hi Guys, I was wondering if any of you guys are having throttle problems in the
Veneaviones Rockwell Turbo Commander 690b. After installing this plane in FS9 I started taxing and the plane wanted to go in circles to the right. I noticed that only my left engine throttle was moving. I have a split throttle on my Saitek AV8R joystick that can be connected together with a pushbutton to act as one throttle and when I try to move the throttles independently, only my Left stick was moving.
I went into my settings and set my axis assignments for each stick, Left for Left engine and Right for Right engine. When I returned to the Virtual cockpit I still only had the left throttle.
If anyone else is having this problem, or knows how to fix this problem, please e-mail me at bigd.blue @ yahoo.com. Or answer in this forum. Thanks.

Hi Phil,

I know some of us has had this problem at times while flying, but its usually not related to any one plane in particular. With multiple engine aircraft, we've seen that at times you need to select all your engines in order to control them all. While it's been awhile since I flown FS9, I think selecting the engines goes something like...

"Control-E-1-2-3-4" . I think this will select four engines if a four engine plane or "Cntl-E-1-2" for a two engine plane.

Good luck and let us know how you come out. Wink
