He seems a little too into his holster for good health. Makes me wonder what else he puts into that leather. Shocked

I have nice custom leather paddle holsters for my Kimber and Model 66.

..but I only see Kydex stuff on their website now. They are local boys so maybe only accept the custom leather orders at gunshows.

All depends on what yer' lookin' for and how you carry.

On the holster subject, I have a Crossbreed Holster. It's the only one I've tried since I started to carry. I use it every day and I carry a SA 9MM XD Service Model with a full 16rd mag and 1 in the chamber. I'm in outside sales. It is very comfortable, and I can tuck my shirt in and know one has noticed the difference

I have in mind to produce some 1911's myself in limited numbers (need to finish an addition to house to undertake that) which will eliminate the need for that process (let's just say I have some "ideas"). Will likely use Les Baer frames and possibly slides. Think the new Springfield Armory Ranger Officer for configuration, but more "finished" (they are rough, out of box). Would probably incorporate Millet sights and coating finish. Hope to turn out a prototype within the year, since I have the supply side worked out. I'd be doing full size (5") only.


Mr. Ascout. If you need someone to do field trials for you let me know. I'll be glad to put some rounds down range for ya. Mr. Green
