Hello again, Anyone know what this piece is? Signage is incorrect I believe ..

Also can anyone help on locating these pieces? Lats and Longs would be helpful but a street address will help a lot, does anyone have photos??? and Thanks for looking

Signage is incorrect is incorrect for sure. Do you have more/better picture?

I am just wild guessing here, but it reminds me of some Skoda pieces from the thirties:

Could this be a shipboard gun? If you any further info I could go up there and look, it's only an hour away.

. . . And this reminded me. There's this coastal gun (I think) in Dravosburg PA:

As I recall it is a Vickers or Armstrong-Whitworth or some other obviously British gun. How did it get here?

Hi Guys,
Massimo
It could easy be a Skoda, it was captured by the 36th Division and they fought in Italy. Doesn't seem exactly the same but very close, the pic I have came offline so its the only one I have.

Kurt
All the info I have on the 5inch Pedestal is that it's in Youngstown and its a Coast Artillery piece, I have no idea if its there, but I was told they had one. Should have ID info on the muzzle end of the tube.

The Dravosburg PA 4.7in QF MKIV is a good find, I think there are about 6 around the country, Fort Moultrie has one.

Dear Sirs,
it is schwere 10.5-cm Kanone 35 (t) (Skoda, series model: J, designation in the Czechoslovak army: 10.5 cm hruby kanon vz. 35) in 36th Infantry Division Memorial Park, Brownwood, TX, USA (certainty 10 out of ten).

Photos serial number = atlantikwall.net/pictu..._(t)_2.jpg

Similar appearance and construction was 15 cm hruba houfnice vz. 37 (Skoda, series model: K, designation in the German army: schwere 15-cm Haubitze 37 (t)).
