"Armored Fighting Vehicles", a catchall phrase that includes tanks, personnel carriers, armored cars, self-propelled artillery and, loosely applied, pretty much any category of ground combat vehicle that has been equipped to fight or operate under fire or variants of same.

Nobody gets upset over a little military truck discussion, etc., but that's not the primary focus and there are other forums better suited to detailed discussions about general military transportation vehicles.
