hey ya'll,,,,,,flew with Lurps pretty much all day today and what an experience!!!!......he took me to this server...

WOW.... Mr. Green .....I gotta say how much more realism was added to my game because of this place. I was so intimidated I was sweating buckets....was trying so damned hard to not screw up and sound like a dork I felt like it was my first day flying sims again........I love it!!!! and I thank you Lurps.......even though I'm prolly a little to terrified to enter this place without you,,,lol,,,,,jk......but holy man guys,,,,,,I know this subject has been brought up before but I got my first real taste of the whole ATC thing today and I think if done the way they would like you to do it this sim will not get any more realistic........
I highly recommend this place,,,(you need to have teamspeak),,,,,,its a blast,,,,I will be here all day tomorrow,,,(sunday),,,,so do join in !!!,,,its great,,,,,by the way,,,,,my tailnumber/callsign is,,,,N424FS,,,,,,,

Sounds good Hoppa! I still gotta install TS again. And got some outdoor work to do today but maybe I'll get done in time to get cleaned up and join ya's.

Spreading some fresh cow manure today, man I just can't wait to get out there and get started....I love the smell of bovine dung in the morning. It smells like......suburban victory!

LOL ... it was fun introducing you to a whole new area in the flight
sim experience ... it is about as close as you are going to get to the
real thing and it cost alot less $$$$$$$ .....

Downloaded your new F18 Vid ...... VERY well done .... IMPRESSIVE .....

I've fooled with fraps some today.... figured out how to do the
splicing/ fade outs/ music add-in .... a little fine tuning and 'ol Lurps will be
turning out his first feature film .... don't be surprised if you see a Greyhound Bus
pulling up next to pig sty at Orcas island ... Wink

,,,,Yeah Stoop,,,,,would be great if you too could make it today, I know myself I'm going in for the entire day,,,,,last night my dreams (all night),,,,,was communicating with ATC,,,lol Confused hopefully I mighta learned some proper lingo because of it.....I guess it worked out in my favour that we are getting rained on big time this weekend or else I woulda been out with my R/C's and missed out on this../.....

and Lurps,,,,,,do hope you make it in soon so we can get some good hops in,,,,,I am going to install this FS navigator here right away and play around with it before I enter the server though,,,,,,,maybe might get a couple more planes for the hangar too......you have so bloody many though I dont know where to begin so I will start with the C-5 and a couple more jet fighters,,,,,,maybe give me a list of your fav's and thatll give me somewhere to start......

I fly the airflyers.net server often using AAL1975. Usually I fly out of KORD making some short hops to Indy, Des Moines, St Louis, KC ect.

Also flew the Seattle to O Hare route IFR and from New York to Seattle several times.

Its a great server but you must file flight plans and also have TS to fly there to get the most of it. Some of the pilots take it way serious and any fooling around is not tolerated.

LOL, I used to fly on VATSIM when I was flying helicopter VA's and its remarkable how "professional" these ATC's are trying to be, while in the real world, they are "professional" sometimes when its busy, but most of the time when I go flying, they are just sitting around farting into the mike, telling rediculous jokes, eating doughnuts, and generally as laid back as possible... Granted though when Vancouver Centre becomes busy they are a little "strict" and not very patient, but most of the times, the ATC's are telling jokes and "farting around" its hard to believe that the general public thinks that is the "most stressful job", as it probably is every once and awhile, but I have never heard a tight and edgy ATC that is ready to scream at an airplane because he is 5 degrees of the set heading...

Although GROUND Controllers are different, they are the ones with the pickles up their @$$, you move 2 feet withought clearance (as I once did, to move up so I could see!), and he reamed me out!! LOL

But otherwise Hoppa, I can't wait to join you guys on that server (when I get my damn USB ports fixed so I can use my mic! lol)
