...on the Military Channel. Of course, it's a hokey movie, and the second half especially so, but the first half has the largest assembly of airworthy Mosquitos in actual operation so that alone is reason enough to watch. Listen to those Merlins drone and enjoy. Disregard everything else.

Oh, I'd forgotten about the Mitchell, which looks to have been an executive transport aircraft half-heartedly reconverted to look like a combat aircraft. Still nice to look at, though.

Love that movie, the hokum is worth putting up with just to see all those Mossies, as a bit of trivia star Cliff Robertson learned to fly to do the movie and ended up buying one of the Mossies

I have it Tivoed so I can watch it later this week. I have several of the 633 series of paperback novels. I think I've read the first two.

I need to remember to check each week what movie they have on Military Channel I know I've missed a few good ones
