Surviving Pz 61 and Pz 68
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Just updated both PDFs. Only a couple of new/better pictures for Pz 61, Pz 68 instead got two new Entpannungspanzer and the 120 mm gun carrier seen in Burgdorf, plus plenty of new pictures.

I've received a picture of Pz 68/88 M+77914 from Christoph Zimmerli. And we filled another slot Smile

Thank you Chris!

Massimo
I've found another entpannungspanzer:
Seems M78678 is located in Poland at Panzer-farm see youtu.be/65ucEVbD-PA

Michel

Btw: there is a M 78678 already at the register at Burgdorf however the picture clearly shows M78698.....

Thanks for catching this!

I just now realized what happened. When I visited Burgdorf in 2010 tank 78678 was there:

Then I went back in 2015 and I saw 78698, without realizing it was a different tank!

Now I guess Panzer-farm got the tank from Burgdorf.
For the time being I've listed both tanks under Burgdorf, waiting for a decent picture showing 78678 in Poland.

Hello, Massimo.

Do you have this one?

Pz61 with a private collector in Indiana.

May be ex Littlefield.

Indeed based on the r/n, it is the Pz 61 from Littlefield. Thanks!

Do you have any additional info you can share?
Who took the picture and when? Can I use it?

Picture was taken by my wife in 2016, at Richmond, Indiana.

Owner is a private collector, with an M41, T55, T62, T72, and a BMP in his barn.

This is the only other decent photo of the Pz61 I took (have one more the wife took, like the first, but too much me).

Feel free to use either or both.

M-78002 was listed, but I knew only the location. This extra info is welcome. Thanks!
