Greetings flyers. I'm a longtime CFS and IL2 pilot - some of you may remeber me from the old MS CFS servers which closed some years ago. I have IL2 1946 installed and I'm about to update it to 4.09 - can't wait...!

What was your CFS callsign? I don't recognise 'magicdogfighter'.
I spent some time in CFS on the Zone, back in the day.
Still the best combat flight sim', to my mind.
Certainly the funnest, with the friendliest community.

Nice to see another new member.

Make sure you follow the patching instructions for IL-2 1946 and use the v4.08m patch first.

IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 Patching Order:
Download and patch in the following order.

CD/DVD Rom: v4.07m
Patch 1: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 Patch v4.08m
Patch 2: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 Patch v4.09m
Patch 3: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 Skins Patch v4.09m
Once the patches above have been installed your installation is current.

*The downloads are zip files and must be unzipped before you can use them.
