lol sure, you are hired. I am having a hard time putting money into my companies bank account by myself. I am still trying to figure out the ins and outs of fseconomy. I almost have enough material bought to build an FBO. Maybe that will help. Just let me know your name on FSeconomy and you will be hired, with an instant promotion to Vice president and CEO

LMAO!!!!! OK easiest promotion I ever got!!!! I won't letya down....

Well I'm on the road stuck waiting for a real flight home (ironic eh) but I'll create an account this weekend between other activities and it'll be 'Stoopy' or some variant thereof. Thanks for the job opportunity...happen to know a few other skilled aviators so if it works out maybe your enterprise can grow a bit more as long as you don't mind having some smelly pigs in the mix.

And wow after all this time of being called "Boss" (of our very excellent JG300 group) I guess I'll get used to using the term myself for this little side-job....which is fine, as I really like being just another pilot on the team.!!

Let me know if you need any help with the setting up part of FSeconomy. A few hints about doing that. FSeconomy doesn't like firewalls, and the way you start the setting up an account part is to go on the fseconomy forum. There is a section in the forum where you go in and post a thread saying "need an new account". hope that gets you started

Done and done, Heh heh!

Look for new user "Stoopy". Thanks for the tip on the client setup and I'll get that done this weekend. Looking forward to it (hopefully as long as it doesn't involve flying tubeliners....any kind of bush flying or VFR to bad weather hauling in singles & twins like the Howard, Beech18, or C-119 etc is more my style.....but as a starving pilot I guess beggars can't be choosers eh).....

Thanks a ton, another reason to make me anxous to get home now!!!

BTW feel free to scroll down the forum list to the JG300 Squad....despite our axis-oriented name we're really a bunch of red-blooded Americans and Canadians that fly for the fun of it (the only link we have to german aircraft is enjoying the challenge of competing with them, and as you know in the worlsd of combat sims, someone has to play at being the bad guy)...anyway we hve a good skill set among our crew and if this works out maybe you'll have a few more hired guns flying for your Rocket Aviation....

I use to play on the IL-2 greatergreen server a lot with some guys named Gate and Hos, you might have seen their names before on a server. I think they are playing competitively with team USA now or something. I flew under the name Yarddart, but it has been quite a while.

I misseed out on Greater Green isnce I was into CFS3 heavy at the time, but I'll look for 'em. Right now I've been flying on the Warbirds Of Prey full-real server which had some old acquantenances involved at the start, some guys like Osiris9x, Soak, Tinman and BM357_Raven for a while. Think they've moved on now....I'm always one step behind it seems!

On another note....well I got hooked up with FSeconomy and did my first flight, have to say I'm impressed!!!!

Sorry if I ran up any costs, I started at my favorite 'home' airfield (KORS, up in NW Washington State) before I noticed that Rocket Aviation is based in Alabama....anyways found a couple of good jobs and had to rent a plane, went with a C-182 since the dirt-cheap Aeronca Champ that was available juuuust couldn't handle the payload...anyway, there's some more cash injected into Rocket Aviation's bank account for ya!

Had a GREAT flight to an airfield I've never been to before and enjoyed the heck out of it, got paid to boot! Woohooo!!!!

Maybe it ain't much but it's a start....Be sure to check the books and if anyone stiffs us on payment we'll send the Bf109's over to "collect"!!!

awesome. looks like it took you less time to figure it out then it did me. Thats a pretty good chunk of cheese to make with a C182. I was making that much with a learjet when I started. I didnt know how everything worked. I still dont lol.

I just promoted you to staff. That gives you access to our account and what not. Also, we should probably make a Rocket Aviation section in the FSeconomy forum on there. not sure how to do that. I also made it to where we individually get 10% of the job total. You can re-invest that into the company, keep it for interest, or use it to do something yourself. I guess we should move this thread to our forum page, when we make one Smile . Welcome to FSeconomy and Rocket Aviation Smile

ok, just put in a reguest for our own forum. And don't worry about starting in Alabama. I never do because there is never any good loads there. I am trying to change that though by building a FBO at KMDQ. I actually have a bunch of material that needs to be moved from KBNA to KMDQ if you would like to do that. You may need something a little bigger then a C182. A king air would probably work. The loads are 2000kgs and pay over $1000 per load for a short 70nm trip. But you can fly wherever you want. I just wanted to build the first of our FBOs at my home airfield Smile

Well you can add another $2500 to the coffers after another two trips - flew a couple pax back up to Canuckistan and then a Gov't offical paid $1600 and change to get flown 100 miles away and I rented an American Champion Scout (LOVE that plane!). Leaned the mixture back as far as I could to save gas too!

Hey man, if it's a forum you need I bet we coulda whipped one up here for Rocket Aviation.....heck I'm guessing there's a few hands here that might want to pitch in and make your enterprise a success..and we'd be away from prying eyes and corporate spies! Laughing

All sounds good, this is GOOD stuff...I need to get to bed but there's 7 Elvis impersonators at CBQ2 Ft. Langley Canada who are willing to pay over 5 Grand to get to Escalante, Utah! LMAO!

(Hey maybe thqt's not a bad idea.....do I have to "work" my way down to Alabama in order to fly that cargoi for the FBO, or do we just "teleport" around in between jobs...or - gasp - pay airfare to get there?)

I appreciate the 10% pay, as I'm thinkin' about buying a Scout for personal reasons when I get the money......or I'll just spend it on rentals to get back home to KORS to sleep in my own cot at night!

lol sounds like you are really enjoying this stuff. Watch out for those elvis impersonators. They are sketchy folks

Well, you can play anyway you want with this. You can either just teleport around (like I do), or really work your way down to where you want to go (like I started doing). I found it hard to really make money doing the 2nd option. Sometimes I would have to deadhead somewhere and it would cost me a bunch if I didnt have a cheap aircraft. After we buy some aircraft for ourselves (no rent) I may start doing that again myself.

It's amazing how fast our bank account is growing now....this morning I had $18K in the bank. Now we have $44k

Yup, enjoyed it immensely in my first 3 flights. Dig it. And if the bank account is growing it's certainly all your work.....just happy to contribute a coupla grand. But hey, if we're anything around here, we're Capitalists, for sure!!!! Muaahhhhaahhhhahh!!!! Laughing

Seriosly gimme a coupla days or so and we'll see what we can do about comms and forums.....I do like to call this site home, it's a "Far from the maddening crowd" kinda thing.......damn good people here even if it's only me that's been talkin' at ya here so far........we'll see what we can do....If of course, you find yourself amenable to the idea? (you're the owner and the guy stayin' up late working on the books and payin' the bills!)
