Kochi’s skyline has undergone a major change in recent times. The city which is known for its museums, churches, temples, beaches and historical places is now getting converted into an abode of luxury lifestyle. The recent addition of malls, luxury homes and business complexes has made it a hub of lifestyle lovers. The development in the realty sector of Kochi is commendable. Popular planners and real estate developers have entered the market owing to the rise in demand for real estate property and land in Kochi. There is a rise in commercial property in Cochin as well with investments pouring in for commercial projects like IT parks. The city has seen some great investment happening in recent times with new builders entering the market. The focus of investment is same for both commercial as well as residential projects. The improvement in the public transport system, rail and air connectivity has also led to this rise in demand. The main areas which have experienced this rise in real estate investment are the cosmopolitan areas of Kochi like Panampilly Nagar, Kakkanad,Thevara and Kadavanthra. The presence of IT parks has led to the professionals shifting from various other cities to Kochi, owing to greater demand for houses and apartments. That is the reason behind the rise in prices near to IT hubs as the real estate builders vie for land near to the IT hubs. Investing in Kochi is a great option for anyone looking out for investing in land. The city is upcoming and is surely the best bet for a profitable deal.
