Post subject: Yall interested in a wee race?

We're (Sim-Outhouse) organinizing a run thru the Alps and thought yall might be interested in it as well. We're hoping to run it either New Year's weekend or the following one.

Only RTW Challenge qualified aircraft will be allowed. Basically, props only. Turboprops limited to two engines. Piston engined aircraft no limit on number of engines. Anything with a jet engine of any type other than a turboprop is disqualified. All aircraft must have been in real life production & had at least 10 examples in operational service. Examples: XP-38 & P-40Q are not qualified. Due to it's having been allowed in previous RTW Challenges, the Do 335 is qualified. Should any questions about any particular aircraft arise, feel free to post the question in the Alps Practice Run thread at SOH.

The course will be:

Start at LOXZ then...
LOWK
LOWZ
LOWI
LIPB
LIDT
LSZS
LSZA
LSPM
LSZB
LSGS
LSGG
LFNC
and finish at LFMN.

The route will be flown in teams of at least 3 pilots. All three will take off together and land together. Should one crash, the others will wait for the crashee to make up the leg with the resulting extra time counting against the team.

We're still working up means of flight validation, etc. Feel free to put your ideas in.
