Sunday 5th January Flight

This is our first flight in 2014, so Happy New Year everybody!!!

It is a rather short flight, that takes us from the Orkney Islands to the Shetland Islands. These islands are in the North Sea, between the Orkney Islands and Norway (well, the Faroe Islands are in between as well, but they belong to Denmark).

Anyway, the flight has a length of only 128 NM, so something slow will do. But check the weather, maybe you don't want to be in a small plane in bad Wx...??

It's my wife's birthday today and it seems a good (or even wise) decision to stay away from the computer for a while (today...)

Sorry I didn't make it. We had a veterinary emergency with one of our cats this morning and it kept us out until almost 2:00, well after the flight started. It was too late for me to join in, and by the time I would have been able to get to the computer, you guys would be just about to land. I'll try to make it next week.

I flew this one, with Fled. I used a C172. I haven't flown last weeks yet.
