Post subject: Hawk 81A-2, Flying Tigers: # "5"
Yes, it me!!

Here comes the Curtiss Hawk 81-A2 n° P-8198 # 5.

This plane was flown by First Squadron Vice Leader Richard BOND (7 victories). It was written of at Loiwing Airfield, on April 10th, 1942 after a japanese straffing action. It might have received a Disney Tiger Decal, but I don't have find any photos, so I propose two versions.



First flight over Toungoo Airfield october-november 1941:






Action over Burma december 1941 to march 1942:





Last fights over China/Burma, april 1942)
