I just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone. I just registered here and even had a chance to speak with some of you on TS. My name is Dan Jones. I am Vice CEO of Transload Virtual Airlines. For my day job I am a union electrician and work at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, IL. I am also retired from the 217th EIS IL ANG now based at Capital Airport in Springfield, IL. When I was active (retired since 1999) the unit was based at O'Hare IAP.
Just thought I would pop in and introduce myself. Thanks for having me!

Transload Airlines has been around since 2002. We have a very dedicated CEO, Ken Paulick, that has invested a lot of time and money for the enjoyment of his pilots. We probably have one of the, if not the largest fleets of aircraft in the virtual flying world and are always adding to it. I am also the fleet manager respondsible for mantaining, posting and upgrading the fleet when neccessary. All of Transload's planes are self-installing files. We have thirteen divisions of aircraft to cover most people's tastes in aircraft. Some of the divisions include Civil, Connect, Military (Army, Air Force, & Navy) Cargo, and Nostalgic to name a few. All our aircraft, and now we even have some custom scenery, is available to the public for downloading. We have also created an Add-ons page for custom panels, sound sets, etc.

We have regulary scheduled flights every Saturday night and Sunday mornings (US time) and divisional and training flights throughout the weeknights. I try my best at some basic ATC during some of the flights. I tend to get the pilots from point A to B a majority of the time. I used to fly a lot on Eskyworld.com so I know enough ATC to add to the enjoyment of online flight simulation without being to strict on the verbage on proper ATC communication. Transload has it's own dedicated flight server and TS server so we can pretty much keep the unruley types from disrupting our sessions.

Transload currently has over 200 pilots on it's roster and usually receives 10 to 30 new applications a week. If any of you in England went to the International Flightsim Convention last summer, you may have been by the Transload booth there. The IFC added a convention in Denver this summer mainly because of the efforts of our CEO. He lives in Denver and is helping in the coordination of the show. The showdates are for July 1&2 in Denver at the Doubletree Hotel.
