The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. Hello,

I don't intend to list the T-34-85 tanks for now, because they are too numerous.

Maybe you should to do list with T-34-85 only from war production?

I don't know how to recognize the war-time production T-34/85s. IS there a way to easily recognize them?

It's indeed a Valentine tank from 1942,; I found a photo there :

I'll have a look for this one.

Matilda register published at :

http://the.shadock.free.fr/Surviving_Matildas.pdf

There may be some mistakes in this register because I can't make the difference between a Matilda II, III or IV ..

OK, I'will change the others. For the one in Bergen, I found a photo were you can see the tank in the background. Btw the Sherman is also not on this spot anymore. Were they are gone, I don't know.
Thanks!

New files :

the last British tanks file :

Valentine Infantry tanks, Archer Tank Destroyers

the long-promised Italian tanks file :

What's next ? (not sorted by priority order and not exhaustive..)

-some special Sherman tanks, maybe 2 registers, 1 with DD, BARV and Crab, the other one with Dozers
-Australian/Canadian tanks
-M3 Lee Grant
-M22 Locust
-Japanese tanks
-Russian armored tractors and tankettes
-French armored tractors and tankettes (not only Renault UE but also Lorraine)

-Intewar/WW2 tanks from neutral countries

-German Half-Tracks
-Some pre-1945 armoured cars...

P-O, the Vickers-Carden-Lloyd Model 1937 at the top of page 6 is at Kubinka, not Bovington.

The APG Mk VI is supposedly a Mk VIB.

The APG Medium Mk II is supposedly a Mk IIA.

You can check the USA AFV register for background on the APG examples...

Thanks Neil, I hope that I will be able to help you for the UK register. A big challenge as there are several private owners there !!
