Surviving Panzers website
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. Hi,

Based on the drive sprocket, this may be a 'real' Hanomag. The data plate, if it is authentic and on the correct vehicle, also indicates this. I agree that the bodywork is awful and that hood looks like nothing I recall seeing.

In this challenging time for selling any luxury or collectible items, does it not seem reasonable to take the best possible pictures for your listing? These pics look like they were taken on his cell phone, 10 minutes before he sat down at the computer. I have no way of knowing, but that minimum reserve ($100,000+) seems kind of high to me. One has to wonder how serious this guy is about selling his Hanomag.

This is a real SdKfz.11 The body is not original ,the vehicle used to have a cargo floor I know the former owner and also have pictures of what it looks originaly A couple of years ago the vehicle was also for sale Walter

According to the chief mechanic of a well-known British collector the chassis/running gear is very badly corroded, the chassis in places has such bad pitting its about half it’s original thickness. It is however indeed an orginal 3 ton chassis.
