Bovington
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Another L 3/ 33 shot. This tank is the only surviving "lanciafiamme" with a trailer. The tank in Trieste used a later configuration, without the trailer:

Hi,

Looks like the Italian tanks and the Japanese tank got in the way of the same bucket of yellow paint!

Info from the Museum on the T-26:

This tank was used by Soviet forces in the war against Finland in 1940/41. It was captured and used by the Finnish Army. Later the engine was removed and the tank buried, up to its turret, as part of the fixed defenses of the Mannerheim line

Because of the swastika on the turret it is often mistaken for a German tank !!? Why do more than a few people never read the sign in front of the vehicle? Is it the "screw the manual, I know what I'm doing" syndrome?

I don't know about this specific case. But I have seen plenty of people associating finnish swastikas with german nazi... I believe there is very little you can do about it.
