...That I have seen TOO MUCH!!!!

Huge automatic slideshow of some amazing auto-related photo's........lots of hilarious stuff, and cool stuff....sadly some wrecks too. But worth a look!

kvadd.mine.nu/gallery/...range_cars

There are controls in the top-left to stop, reverse, and forward the slide show...and if you're like me, you'll need it!

OOPs I shoulda posted a warning - edit your post and take out the links to pictures, they don't like reposting pictures and stealing bandwidth from their URL - you get them nasty signs........I had to screen-capture, paste into Irfanview, crop, upload to photobucket...otherwise a great site!

definitly some gooduns in there for sure......but what made me laugh the hardest is these clowns with stock hondas and other 4 banger heroes that stick a couple a fins and a 150 dollar muffler in it and some off the shelf wal-mart decals and seem to think they got a street racer......unreal.....
some great custom stuff though in here to be seen...

I honestly though think the whole street racer thing is outa control,,,,,I had some dork pull up beside me last week in his honda,,,,tunes blaring away driving me nuts,,,,,he had one of those cheezed out fins,,,,dumb sounding muffler and the worst home decal job I ever seen,,,,,,he and his lil' pal thought they were ....I dunno,,,whats the wording these days??????..pimpin it big time ,,or bling blinging,,,I dunno ,well,,,about 20 people saw just how good his car was when I nailed the accelerator,,,,,,I think he forgot where second gear was...cause I left him far far behind in the ol' 6 banger stang,,,,,,,and all I was trying to do was get away from that awful sounding crap they had turned up way too loud.....

good site though stoop,,,I still have another hundred or so to look at....

"Ricers" is the word you're looking for.....and that's not a slam against any make of vehicle but more of a description of the road mentality. If they had real cars, foreign made or no, they'd go to the local dragstrip and lay down $20 bucks for a pass or two to show everyone their honest numbers - and have a good time with fellow enthusiasts - rather than pose around on the streets with $80 worth of decals on their fenders and sour looks on their faces. What can you do......th'poor kids don't know any better I guess.....thats why I DIG some of the pictures on that site from people intentionally making fun of the phenomenon, with wood wings screwed to the trunklid, and the ironing board was perfect!

In the first weekend out with my new ride, I had two incidents of being messed with...both were extremely minor because you can see (and hear) it coming and react accordingly. One guy decided that getting alongside me wasnt good enough, he fart-squirted ahead and changed lanes to get right in front of me about 1 foot away from my front bumper. But it was so predictable, I'd already checked that the lane he came from was clear and a quick flick of the wrist and a little pressure on the pedal, we crossed paths over the dotted line and I was over in the lane he came from and beside him by the time he looked in his rear view mirror to see nothing but empty road behind him. I rode on ahead and found a better group of drivers to run with and didn't see him show up again, which was good because rat-racing around with some ig'nant joker is the last thing I'm interested in! But I think Steve McQueen woulda been proud... Razz

Anyways......yeah some of these pics make me wish I had a TIG welder and a $500 beater car to dress up with a backwards wing and some cardboard and ducttape ground effects!
