They're yakking on the TV news channel right now about Pres. Obama about to make an announcement in a few minutes, and while that's dragging on they're speculating about advance notice that it's about Osama Bin Laden has been killed.

Not to get into any political statements or anything but I gotta say it's good news when it comes to that guy. Frankly I hope they put his head on a stake somewhere so the usual conspiracy theorists, deniers and radical extremists can see for themselves that an era is finally behind us.

Most importantly let's hope we can all successfully go forward from here. Huge debt of gratitude for the enormous effort put forward by all service personnel who served toward this effort!

We have to remember that he's done his job already and has (almost) only been a brand for a decade and a half.
Others have replaced him in the hierarchy.
It was always his plan to eventually split Al Quaida into cells and sleeper cells, as far back as the early nineties.
Then to give the leaders of those cells complete autonomy from him when the time came.
Special Branch were only mentioning his name outside internal briefings in the mid-nineties, and even then they weren't sure whether he would become a serious threat or just a loony.
Al Quaida will be out to prove that his death hasn't affected their potential a.s.a.p.
But they'll still be a bunch of sissy-girl cowards about it.
