Pershing Tank
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I was looking at pictures of the T25E1 tank. Some have HVSS and some have torsion bar suspension. Are they both T25E1's? _________________ "TUMBLEWEED"

The photos are of the T25 prototype with sherman type suspension an electric transmission ( which proved to be a problem ) and the m155 90mm main gun. The picture Im sending is of the T25E1 prototype which had torsion bar suspension a hydromatic transmission and the same main gun. It was developed into the original production M26 Pershing in time for use before the end of WW2. The gun in the production models was the m3 90mm.
