PzKpfw IV recovery in Poland
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

well.. it's getting a bit boring. In 2007 I didn't know so many Panzers, now I have the impression that it is a common thing.

That is only a common thing thanks to the.shadock.free.fr/Su...nzers.html

The tank was hit during bombarding in 1944/45 on Kluczewo airfield.
It was dug in earth and discovered in present year when some parts of it where sold to local scrapyards. It alarmed the authoritative and caused that all terrain was secured and the remains of the Pzkpfw IV where rescued and will be given to Military Museum in Kolobrzeg.

If Poznan do the same efforts than for the Sturmgeschütz IV, then it will be a real gem.
