Bovington
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Here is the Khalid. Tamiya hall was closed during my visit, since they were assembling the new Afghanistan display (you can see the workers in the background on the right). But I was allowed a quick visit and a few shots anyway. All in all, I have to say the Museum's crew was very friendly and really went the extra mile:

Aluminum Chieftain. It's a poor picture, Tamiya Hall is very problematic in terms of light and I only made a quick visit to it (see above). Yet the subject is very cool and not well-know:

I am done with vehicles stored indoor. There are 500+ shots on Flickr:

I will add some gate-guardians and a few pictures from the reserve collection asap

Another set of Sherman's engine pictures. This time it's Ford V8. File is more than 100 Mb:

I have a few pictures that need proper id. This tank is sitting in the open, among many wrecks. Looks like a soviet design, not a T-72 for sure, something more modern:
