Should need photos of FT17 in Patton Museum for a project.
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Should need photos of FT17 in Patton Museum for a project.

Hello, Smile

I am searching for a correspondant living in the area of Fort Knox. I should need pictures of the new FT 17 (with machine gun Hotchkiss) on display in the Patton Museum. This is for the project of DVD dealing with French tanks, period 1916 - 1945.
I thank you in advance for your help.

Based on the reports from Dontos, this is the latest state of the Renault FTs (search the page for 'Renault FT'):

Preserved Tanks at Fort Knox

i.e. one is without a turret in RMP, one is at Carlisle and one is at Benning. Dontos or Garry can probably tell you more.

It's me again Smile

Is the English Mark V* always in place ? There were some Mark V* in the French Army and it could be interesting to realize a walkaround with this tank.
I thank you in advance for your replies.
