Gurtkasten for Sd Kfz series
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Gurtkasten for Sd Kfz series
I have been trying to track down anyone who is making the Gurtkasten for the Sd Kfz series of vehicles. I have four of the originals and need 10 more to complete the interior of my 222. Before I commit to commissioning a firm to make them I would like to know if anyone knows of someone making reproductions. If anyone is not making them and anyone else needs them please continue reading.
I discussed the reproduction of these Gurtkasten with a friend of mine who owns a large restoration firm yesterday, I gave him one of my Gurtkasten and gas mask tube containers. He will get back to me this coming week with a cost estimate but since he will make a die for them he said that the minimum order would have to be around 50 pieces. I need to know how many of you would like them and how many. No deposit until we have a firm cost estimate. My email is connors @ online.de if you would like to contact me directly. Thanks Harry
