I was on the Panoramio site checking out Chernobyl, Ukraine (also Prpy'yat, Ukraine) and found some intersting photos for members to check out.
www.panoramio.com. Photo id- 25784070 and 25787219. Two photos of a ISU 152, which was there as a monument before the accident at the nuclear plant. Also mentioned in the text (but not shown) was a German tank which was removed from the area.
Photo id- 37022091. MTLB and BRDM 1, in what appears to be a small museum of "Liquidators" vehicles (Those who cleaned up after the melt down). Photo id- 58735008. Same small museum showing also a BTR-60 APC.
Photo id- 31347802. Combat Engineer Vehicle. Photo id- 39535959. Modified Combat Engineer Vehicles. I wonder if any Ukraine members have photos of this area and the variety of odd vehicles used in the clean up? Rick

You can't seatch Panoramio by photo number, could you post links?

Sorry, didn't know that. I'll try to post some. Best way to look at photos is to search them out at Google Earth. Even if not a Panoramio member, you can still look at the photos, just can't make comments. Rick

Just use www.panoramio.com//photo/#### where the ### should be the photo number.

Please note that I'm going to post some photos of the MBT-70 Pilot 5-M that I shot in 1986. Plus the XM800 T pilot. They were both in the Munson Automotive test area way back then, and where they are today is unknown. There were a number of rare vehicles there years ago. I'll be posting more photos in future. They are going onto the Rick_Eshleman gallery. Note the Non-Ballistic turret A-00006 on the MBT-70.
