What's the turret on that Matilda tank?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Well the turret is from an LVT(A)5 but somewhere along the way it appears to have gained a fake mantlet/gun and an M113 cupola?

Very interesting lashup. My 2 Euro cents for the gun: If it's not a pipe, it could be a 76mm gun from a Saladin AC or a 3" howitzer from a Matilda CS.
Also, the Aussies really seem to have a penchant for kitbashing Matildas with other AFVs. Not too long ago, on the fotocommunity.de site, I found another picture of a Matilda, this time with a Staghound turret and a length of pipe for a gun.
