Hello guys, I am looking at moving a set of tank tracks for a M3 Stuart. Need to know their weight. They are rubber block type. Wanting to know if it can be done by trailer. I would like to know in kilograms but if you only have it in lbs that's no worries, I'll just use an online converter.

I'm not sure of the exact weight but....a rough guess is 800-1000 lbs per side(!?).

Transportable via trailer? I'd say yes, depending on the trailer.

If you break the track down in sections of 5 to 8 block sections(or less), transportation & handling is far easier.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Regards
Don

Hi Don, the track is broken down into 12 sections of around 16 links each, some a bit longer. It will be a duel axle trailer with 2 ton capacity.

If my Old Mark I Eye Ball is counting correctly, this M3 has 66 shoes.

G'day Roy, thanks for that.
I got the tracks home. 166 links in total. In 10 sections of various sizes. They are NOS and still have a stamped serial number on many of them.
They are a bit weathered as they have been outside and uncovered for some time.
