Can you play IL-2 1946 on Windows 7..? How about in Hyperlobby. Any of these games not playable on Windows 7...

While I haven't tried some of those games Hammer, it's been my experience that all games I have run better on 7 than XP and yes, I run 1946 on 7 but I haven't tried Hyperlobby....

I am fairly certain that several people are running Hyperlobby using Win 7.

Don't let IL-2 install itself into the Program Files folders or it is more difficult to make things work. Create a Games directory on your C drive and install it there and you will have fewer problems.

Default path:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946

Altered Path:
C:\Games\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946
(I just altered the filepath when I installed it and it created the Games directory for me.)

If you have already installed IL-2 into the Program Files folder then just move the Ubisoft folder into the Games folder and everything should work. You may have to alter the filepath in the desktop shortcut or create a new one so the sim will load when you use it.
