Wien. Military Museum
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Are we still planning to visit Italy this year? Before the Diesel fuel is getting really too expensive :s

I am all for it. I am even willing to post-pone my visit to Munster in order to join you.

Let's discuss the details by email

BTW If there is anybody else that would like to join, please speak up. The plan so far is to stay a few days in Rome and visit:

- Cecchignola
- Museo Carristi
- Vigna di Valle (planes)
- Piana delle Orme

They have an interesting series of Centurions over there. Here is the MBT, with Pionerpanzer behind it:

This Centurion Bridgelayer is completely different than the one in Thun. Is it an original english version or a late conversion with different bridge equipment?

Hi Massimo -

Great photos!

Thanks for posting - and taking them and processing them!!!

Interesting collection of vehicles there.

Cool to see you mixing up the angles - remember when we used to go and just LOOK at stuff! LOL!

Cheers,
VB

As I mentioned, there was this temp display with exotic prototypes. Here is one:
