While we're always looking for ways to improve our world at Com-Central. Due to the suggestions of our members, we're proud to announce a couple of new items.

1) Instead of having Community Forums as the only choice in the menu, we now have "New Posts". This means any new posts since your last visit. For the time challenged or those that only want or need to see the news posts since the last visit, this is a great time saver.

2) A new theme! Yep, we've added a new theme to Com-Central and that makes a total of 9 choices. The new theme has been names AFV3 and is a dark gray theme for those that like a darker theme. You can see this new theme by going to the main site page com-central.net and look at the lower right hand side of the side for a Selector box called "Theme Preview". Select the theme you want to see without changing your current theme permanently. If you find one and want to keep the change, go to "My Account", "Configuration" , select the theme and save.

We've updated the site and forums with new security measures as well as updated all the themes to allow for a COOL new features such as Sub Forums and "Archives".

We can now archive the older posts in any forum to allow access but not use time displaying all the old pages and pages of posts. Clicking any Archive link in the forum you're in will let you view all the old posts. Any Announcement and Polls will be left, but all the stickies will be Archived along with the old posts.

We now have Sub Forums. This should allow for the overall forums to have a cleaner and more efficient look.

We've also modified the IMG tag code to allow spaces in image links such as those used by popular Photo Hosting sites. While it's not a good practice to use spaces in IMG tags, the fact remains there are sites that allow those types of files to be created.

We're removing old not-used forums. At the bottom of the forums page is a category for Forum Going to be Deleted. If one of these is your squadrons forum and you want it saved, please speak up as all tagged will be deleted in 30 days.
