Israeli tank relics - location?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Israeli tank relics - location?

On the internet I found some pictures from preserved Israeli tanks. Now I'am looking for the location. This T-54 is preserved at an IDF base. Anyone who can help?

Unknown by me who took the picture

Then, Booster Ridge, there is a T-62 wreck located at a small picnic area. Anyone has a grid of this location? Nearby should be at least 3 Centurion wrecks (r/n 817092, 8143.. and another one)

The picture of 8143.. is from Rut Gaizer

And this picture of the 817092 is also from Rut Gaizer

Then, were is the Naffah HQ located, here there should be some T-55/T-62s

And as last, were are the Central Recruiting Barracks located? There should be some preserved tanks.

Thanks in advance,
Lesley

Here's some Google Earth locations for monuments and wrecks in Golan Heights:

Centurion 32.941025, 35.851055
Centurion 32.929727, 35.854816
Centurion 33.014572, 35.831761

Half track
and centurion

I was able to find them by using "Booster Ridge" as a hint. Don't have enough info to search for the others.

The Syrian tank is a March 1970 built vehicle with serial L03VT1497 and is part of the monument of the 7th (ISR) Division.

The last is at the Harel Brigade Memorial

Thanks!

Lesley

The "Pink Tank" is an M50 Super Sherman, at Metula.
The "tanks, Jeeps & Halftracks", are, left to right, not a Willy's Jeep (OK, I don't know what it is!) behind that, is I don't know, maybe a Russian BMP?
Big lad at the front's a Centurion, M3 half track behind, other one's an M48, I think.
