Wow, what a day I had Saturday. The CAF had their first Fly Day at headquarters. The West Texas Wing and The Desert Squadron participating along with a local R/C club. Our Squadron had all three of our plane in it. The PT-26, Stearman, and Stinson L-5.
I would like to share some pictures and videos. I got to ride over in the PT 26 and fly back in the L-5. Still got the smile on my face.

Landing at KMAF. My pilot made one of the best landing I can remember. He left the tail up to get clearence between us and the ones behind us.

Notice the close proximity of the drilling rigs. If ya'll need to know, The Permian Basin is in a pretty good boom right now.

I don't know how a pt-26 would do against a stearman or L-5, but when you see planes coming up on your 6............I did kinda feel like Goose in Top Gun.

Next Weekend I will be a backseater flying to the Airshow in Burnet, TX
