Anybody try this software? It's basically a free voice command program that can be used on anything that uses keystrokes. I've tried it on IL-2 and after I "trained" the computer to recognize me, its almost perfect. You can create profiles for any program. For IL-2, I just took the existing profile, copied the text, pasted in Notepad, then did my custom profile there. I saved it as a regular text in the profile directory. In order to open the profile, you must run shoot, open profile, and select all files at the bottom. Your text profile will be there, with the rest of the XML profiles (I couldn't edit these, so thats why I copied its text ) It took me a while to find out that I couldn't edit XMLs and that text files work also. The one downfall is that you cannot use key combos, like my landing lights are ctrl l, my voice command will not initaite the two keys simulateneosly, just one at a time. But radio commands was never so easier. Instead of pressing Tab, 9, ect... I can say ONE ECHELON Right and the formation will change, I can say canopy and it will open or close, I can say lights, and my cockpit will glow...Want to use flaps in combat without using up a joystick button or pressing keyboard. Just say flaps down or flaps up and it will do it automatically. Basically, anything but simulteneous keys is possible. I did have to modify the profile a lot to adapt it to my settings though. It has a press to talk mode. Just press f10, say ur command, then press f10 again. I do wish it was a press talk where you hold the key, but I'm sure a future version will support it. This adds to the realism a little bit and convenience...so happy flying!
