One interesting piece of info, a book edited by Belgrade Military Museum says the Pz I F in Kubinka was donated by them.

Some field modifications makes me believe this tank was used by German Army

WW II Italian tanks were designed for mountain warfare, being "rocks safe" was a major requirement Smile

Walking around the Fortress I've also spotted this armored cupola. It looks familiar, but I am not able to identify it properly. I am asking around on italian forums, but so far I've failed to nail it down

As a guess, because whoever was wielding the brush, didn't know any different?
Certainly not "official" RAL colours either, so we just have to be thankful, that someone decided to preserve them at all!
