M114 or WTF?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

This popped up on a facebook group page, that I am a member. Anybody seen or heard about this vehicle? I believe it used to be an M114 ASRV, but wondering what its rebuilt purpose was. Supposed to be in a field in Lawrence Kansas area. Regards Don

Don, Perhaps a machine gun target tank? It looks like it might be remote controlled. Any other views of it? Rick

It's the HEL (Human Engineering Lab) M114 STTV (Scaled Tactical Target Vehicle). Here is an older thread on the subject.
