Surviving M3 and M3A1 Stuart tanks
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Here's a pic of the second M3A1 at the MVTF in Portola Valley, CA:

From where it came from?

Massimo

I don't know. It was there during my first visit in 2001. Jacques picked up stuff from all over the place. It probably arrived sometime in the 90's.

I asked because the painting reminds me from other M3s coming from Brasil.

I don't yet distinguish the origin for the M3s and M3A1s on PTC when listed by model (see link above) but I do track their origin when listed by location, so for example many of them passed through Braganca Paulista:

If you can add more information or photo's I'd be interested to hear from you.
