Shumshu Ha-Go restored to running condition
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Shumshu Ha-Go restored to running condition
One of Type 95 Ha-Go light tank wrecks was rebuild to running condition vehicle. More 50% of armor plates made from scratch, new built tracks, roadwheels, gun and another small details. Used GAZ-41 engine from BRDM-1 as a new engine, modern gearbox.








Vadim Elistratov, chief of rebuild team and Ha-Go driver.
