The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Really nice job. M1919 MG's instead of M60's (apparently for technical reasons in building). Rubber track pads, mucho work.

Be sure to view all the pages showing the metal fabrication and pre-paint conditions.

Hi Folks! Hi Doug!

Very interesting job! The M1919s are super wrong, but maybe he had some/could get some 30 cals.

Thanks for the info.

My guess is that is what he had access to in that scale. OTOH, he's in the Philippines and they may well have had some vehicles equipped that way based on stocks of suitable MG's. Certainly I can't think of an objection to actually having those if that's what you've got...pretty serviceable weapon.

Edit to add:

Yep, it was a scratchbuilding issue, since he was working in metal..from the original thread:

"Sorry...cant do the m60s, too hard for me to scratch-build it in metal, unlike the .30 cal mg .....anyways, thanks for the compliment guys"
