Dan, I think I see what you mean about having a 2/3 screen. I had to reset my graphics setting after the update that came out this weekend and saw the same thing when I was back at default settings. In your Options section, under Video, there is a "Full Screen" checkbox, that should solve your problem (also you can try different resolutions if you want).

As far as buying the full version, it's a simple upgrade over what you have now...I'd go with the Iron Cross Edition (ICE) from the Rise Of Flight store directly, its $10:

Very cool!

Wednesday nights are a good night to fly online in a low-pressure format, as a bunch of us are doing formation flights - very loose - on the New Wings Battleground server and more new folks are showing up for that.

TeamSpeak is pretty much a requirement though so you can hear what the flight leader is planning and instructing the flight to do. Listen-only mode is better than nothing.

Anyway it starts in an hour and a half and is my mid-week pressure relief. If I don't see you or Dan there, will hopefully see ya next week!

Really like the pics Stoopy,seems you have your bombing acuracy really dialed in and that would explain all the attention we were getting fron enemy fighters.Couldn't ge on last night as I am sick as a dog right now but I did buy the Iron cross version and I got a few other things worked out including the screen size

I'll keep pushing ahead and look forward to playing with you guys

Dan I'm sorry about leaving no notice but I was on last night, on the Battlegrounds server, from about 8:30 to 10:00. I was having a busy Saturday and didn't know if I'd have time to be on or not. If you're around tonight we can hook up on Battlewings.

TS3 is up and going, son got me a new set of headphones w/ mic for christmas.

Cool! Well I'm gonna hang out for about an hour or so right now on the NW Basic Training server (and on their Basic Training channel in TS3). I'll either be shooting touch 'n goes in the Fokker Dr.I if the German (Central) map is up, or flying around in a flying boat if the Entente map is up. If we meet up we can go huntin' in any of the outlying areas that have AI planes to go kill.

Was awesome getting back in the air with Stoopy and Dan tonight.

This game is great, even though I ran into a couple "gotchas" and now know what you were talking about whith the sound issues. A couple of times my motor sound cut out and I thought my engine died. Turned out it was just the sound, it kept going and coming. Also not sure what was up with what ended up being my rudder getting stuck. Odd how it was fine the first couple of flights and then started doing that but all I had to do was kick the pedals a couple of times to free it up. Might even be something on my end.

Either way had a blast and the other guys on there all seemed down to earth and were helpful...even to a "newb" like myself.

Have the TrackIR ordered and since I'm off this week will be getting my Chops up on this baby. Mr. Green

Roger that fr8ycat it was a lot of fun and the sim is fun to fly.I had some issues as well,not sure why i couldn't open my rad some of the time and my motor sound died as well and the next time I wont be trying to watch a ball game at the same time.Got a head set with a mic today and I look forward to yaking with you guys.I'm off this week to so let me know when your going to be on. Gents I had a great time and couldn't have enjoyed myself more! It was a great feeling to share the skies with a couple of my brethren!!!!! I certainly hope to do more of it with ya's! We can do some New Year's Day flying if you're up for it!
