USA (NOW V3.0!), Canada, France and Belgium AFV Registers
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

You still mention the SdKfz 250 at the Baugnez Museum near malmedy. But that one is no longer there.
it's is back to the owner who lives nearby.

Didn't know that, I assume that it went to the other side of the border?

Neil and the gang -

We stopped by the Alabama National Guard Armory in Springville, AL to see the M42B1 Sherman Flamethrower and M60A3 listed in the registry.

Both vehicles are not currently at the armory.

I inquired as to the whereabouts of the Sherman and was told that it was at Fort McCLellan near the Ute Range? and was slated to be painted. I asked if it was to be returned to the armory in the future but that was not known.

Hello

At last the new updated Belgian register is ready en online. You can find it here: www.afvregister.org/Download.aspx

Michel

some corrections :

Beffe, M4A3(76) : serial number 439xx (I found it on last Sunday, after 1/2 hour scratchingn the paint off the tow lugs). The M4A3 in Clervaux is SN 43911 so the Beffe should be of the same batch, the SN should be very close to this one.

Bastogne

Neil & the gang -

Texas Registry updates:

We found the Sweetwater, TX M103. She’s on display in Newman Park off of FM Rd 419/Oil Mill Rd (N32 29.071, W100 24.623) with a T-33 and a Huey.

The M4 High Speed Tractor listed in Grand Prarie, TX is no longer on display. The GPS coordinates listed were incorrect, but the intersection WAS correct for where it was displayed at the time the Waymarking photos were taken.

There is NOT an M1 Abrahms in Arlington, TX at Texas Army National Guard Armory, 1929 W Randol Mill Rd.

The M4A3E8 listed for McKinney, TX is on display at VFW Post 2150 located at 1710 N Church St, McKinney, TX 75069 (N33.21976, W96.61562) NOT at the American Legion Post 96, 1611 North Church St. The Sherman is S62764.

The M4 composite on display at the 12th Armored Division museum in Lubbock, TX has been patched up and a turret added since the photo in the registry link was taken. Gallery forthcoming.
