Sea Girt, NJ National Guard Museum
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Sea Girt, NJ National Guard Museum
Hi All,
Today We went to the Sea Girt, NJ NG Museum. The building partially reopened April 7, 2013 after Hurricane Sandy hit the museum hard. Inside I took no pictures as only 2 rooms were available to public, and neither had armor in them. Outside I photographed the armor, artillery and 5 aircraft (not posted here, check "Other weapons") plus the items about a block away M26 tank, M47 tank, M706 AC, a target tank, and a dump truck. Not on display.
I noted in the outside display: M60 tank, M48 tank, M42 SPAAGs, M113A2 APC, M75 APC, M4A3 Sherman, M110A2 8" SPH, M728 CEV, and the aircraft. In front of the building were two small Artillery guns, and a German 75mm AT Gun. Photos of artillery in that section.
There were two other US artillery guns just inside the gate, I didn't stop to photograph. Rick
