i have 75 pictures from camp in uk to normandy landings them onto india, burma, java, singapore with pictures of the jap surrender louie mountbatten and inside pictures of the signing, i just though i would share a couple, i will be scanning in hi res al of the images and forwarding them to the servvicing commando website, also got his 2 commando daggers:)

oh yeah feel free to copy them for own use but outa respect please dont put them on other websites, theres some very rare pictures in this album and maybe need forwarding to the right ppl..

Then I suggest those not be posted. Regulars here will certainly respect your request, but harsh personal experience says don't expect uniform compliance from visitors that think their personal status will somehow be elevated by re-posting material that has rarely (or ever) been seen. This is a regular occurance on several graphics-heavy, military-related websites that I'll decline to name.

Alternate method:

Create a "public" album (not requiring password entry) on some hosting service like Flikr or Photobucket, post the photos there and then send out some PM's with the link. I know a lot of members here would love to see them (myself included) and you can decide who to send the link to. Wink
