Sinsheim's Marder III Ausf. H displayed at Munster
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Hello,

I read on the Deutsches Panzermuseum Munster's facebook page that Sinsheim's Marder III Ausf. H will be soon displayed there.

Seems that the tranfer was already done. A shame, since I planned to visit Sinsheim again in August !!

Munster exhibits all seem very crisp, Bovington has improved no end since the late 90s though.

Walter

that's what is said of the facebook page : "The exhibit belongs to the Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung in Koblenz, it was borrowed for many years to the Technik Museum Sinsheim. Due to restructuring in Sinsheim, the Marder has there no place; Koblenz is also affected by lack of space. The Marder is therefore temporarily in Munster and exhibited."

so.. probably nobody knows.

Ah Jee, OK OK,
If nobody has room for the Marder I'll volunteer space in my Garage for it. It must though share the space with my Kübelwagen.

Actually if I must say so...not a bad idea!

I think my friends and I will visit Munster again soon.
All three that have been mentioned are great places.

I would expect a Marder and a Kubelwagen should get along pretty well Smile
